The Public Policy in Action Praxis Residency Programme is a two-year certificate course that offers an exceptional opportunity for young professionals to engage in high-impact public programmes in districts across India. Programme Architecture

Arts & Science of Public Policy

In the academic component, learners will engage with trans-disciplinary themes, applied professional skills, and broader development perspectives. The aim is to build a holistic perspective of society and the public system, as well as the interaction between the two.

Global Perspectives

The programme will be delivered by globally renowned faculty through our ongoing long-term partnerships with institutions such as the T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Stanford University, etc.,

Impact Leadership Experience

Integrated within the academic programme, the leadership component focuses on exercising learners’ leadership potential while providing techno-managerial support for public administration in real-time. 

Practicum

Similar to academic semesters, the programme consists of four practicums, each lasting six months.

Why You Should Apply

By the end of the 2-year programme,
PPiA Learners will have:

Contribute to nation building by creating equal life opportunities with inter-generational equity for the most marginalised communities in rural India

Placement within complex public administration to practice public policy in a live setting

2 years of intensive applied learning programme where the academic content amounts to a 1-year post-graduate level course in public policy
Consolidated stipend of Rs 75,000 per month which covers field as well as travel and work-related expenses.
